This portal organizes, systematizes and makes available data related to activities at sea, collected by the Hydrographic Institute, for the promotion of economic development and the safe use of the Portuguese sea.
The «Hidrográfico +» project was born from the need to organize, systematize and make available data related to activities at sea collected by the Hydrographic Institute. The aim is to combat bureaucracy and automate processes, namely in the context of providing data to citizens, universities and local administrations.
Its implementation allowed the IH to be in line with the best practices of the Public Administration and enhances the Hidrografico brand.
The project obtained funding under the SAMA2020 program (POCI-02-0550-FEDER-035422).
The promoters are: AMA \ COMPETE. The promoter's representative is the AMA.
