Visit of the President of the Portuguese Committee for the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission

The Director-General of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido, received this Thursday, January 25, the visit of the President of the Portuguese Committee for the Intergovernmental Oceanographic Commission (CP-IOC), Professor Luís Menezes Pinheiro. This visit was promoted to a presentation of greetings and a visit to the technical scientific areas and to the Naval Oceanographic Meteorological Center.
At the Naval Oceanographic Meteorological Center were presented the current projects related to the knowledge and investigation of the sea and the operational capacity that contribute to the scientific and technological development of the country .

The President of CP - IOC, Professor Luís Menezes Pinheiro ended the visit with the signature of the book of Honor, where he expressed his appreciation for the work developed by this institute of greater relevance for the knowledge of the Ocean in Portugal.
