Visit of the Course of the Degree in Marine Sciences of the University of Aveiro

On November 7, the Hydrographic Institute received the visit of a group of 39 students, accompanied by Professor Filomena Maria Martins, from the University of Aveiro (UA).

The visit of these students of the 1st year of the Degree in Marine Sciences (LCMar) of the AU took place within the scope of the Law and Policy of the Sea (DPM) curricular unit. The objective was to make the students aware of the role of the Hydrographic Institute in the protection, conservation and defense of the marine environment and resources, and the activities developed in the Chemistry and Marine Pollution and Sedimentology laboratories.
