Visit of Professor Olívia Oliveira from the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil), director of the Institute of Geosciences

The Hydrographic Institute received, last September 15, the visit of Professor Olívia Oliveira of the Federal University of Bahia (Brazil), director of the Institute of GeoSciences, accompanied by Dr. José Luís Moutinho and Dr.ª Catarina Duarte of AIR CENTRE.

Beginning at 10.55am, this visit was guided by the Technical Director, Captain Bessa Pacheco, who explained the Institute's functions and missions to the visitors.

Afterwards, the delegations visited the installations of the Technical Department and ended the visit by visiting the Institute's cultural spaces, namely the Pharmacy, the Library and the Exhibition Room.
