Visit of the Maritime Confraternity of Portugal to IH

The Maritime Confraternity of Portugal visited the Hydrographic Institute on April 7th. The confreres were received by the Director General of IH, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido. The visit included the areas of Technical Direction related to the sciences and techniques of the Sea that contribute to the development of the Country and defense of the marine environment, and the historical spaces of the Convent of Trinas, where the institute currently operates.
The Maritime Confraternity of Portugal, whose main objectives are of a cultural and patronage nature, seeks to contribute to making the Sea a true national design and for maritime activities to have among us the highlight they have had in the past.
