Visit to the IH of the General Staff of the Ivory Coast National Navy.
The Chief of Staff of the National Navy of Côte d'Ivoire, Rear Admiral Konaté Djakaridja, visited this Thursday the Hydrographic Institute, where he was received on arrival by the Chief of Staff of the Navy and the National Maritime Authority, Admiral Mendes Calado, and the Director General of IH, Rear Admiral Coelho Cândido.
After the welcome, a presentation was given on the mission and capabilities of this institute in the areas of marine science and technology. The program continued with a presentation entitled "Mapping the Portuguese Sea: Cartography - from discoveries to current events", and the Technical Directorate, where it made possible the exchange of information on the main research and development projects and the support of IH to naval operations and maritime.
This visit was part of a program extended to the Portuguese Navy, which included trips to the various units.
