University of Aveiro Visits the Hydrographic Institute

Today, on November 17th, the Hydrographic Institute welcomed 36 students from the University of Aveiro, enrolled in courses such as Marine Sciences, Geology and Meteorology, Oceanography, and Geophysics, as part of the Geological Oceanography discipline.

The visit included a presentation to the students with the aim of introducing them to the tasks and organizational structure of the Hydrographic Institute, as well as its operations and the responsibilities of various divisions within the Technical Directorate. Following this, there was a tour of the Marine Geology and Chemistry and Marine Environment Pollution laboratories.
