Sea surface temperature above 23ºC on the Portuguese south coast

The buoy network of the integrated environmental monitoring system of the IH (MONIZEE) recorded, in recent days, a significant increase in sea surface temperature, with Faro reaching a maximum of 25ºC, Leixões 22ºC, Nazaré 21ºC and Sines 20ºC. Faro registered the largest increase in the last seven days, with the temperature consistently increasing by 1ºC per day.
