Technicians from the Hydrographic Institute receive AUV training

For 3 days, a team of technicians specializing in physical oceanography, marine geology, and hydrography at the Hydrographic Institute received training to operate the recently acquired Autonomous Underwater Vehicle (AUV).

The training was supported by the Maritime Experimentation Center of the Portuguese Navy, which provided its facilities in Troia for the sea component.

This AUV has the ability to acquire information from the seabed and the water column through various installed sensors.
