Secretary of State for National Defense gets acquainted with projects from the Hydrographic Institute
During the recent visit of the Secretary of State for National Defense, Carlos Lopes Pires, to the Portuguese Navy, the Hydrographic Institute (HI) took part in a static exhibition, where it had the opportunity to showcase its developments within the scope of the IHSensortech project, as well as demonstrate its technological and operational capabilities.
During the exhibition, the HI presented a comprehensive overview of its latest capabilities in maritime technology, emphasizing the practical application of remote monitoring systems and state-of-the-art sensors. The significant advancements that the IHSensortech project aims to achieve were highlighted, underscoring the crucial role of the technologies that the project may give rise to in the continuous advancement of maritime security and facilitation of naval operations.
