Recovery of the glider "Caldas" after mission
The glider "Caldas" is back home! It traveled 276.12 km over 12 days of mission, making 138 dives from the surface to maximum depths of 950 meters, collecting conductivity and temperature data along the water column. It was retrieved with the support of ISN Sesimbra 7.5 nautical miles south of Sesimbra.
The "Caldas" will now undergo post-mission maintenance, and the raw data will be retrieved from its internal memory and processed for future use.
