Recognition of the Technical Course of Hydrography with Category B

On April 23, the proposal for renewal of the recognition of the Technical Course of Hydrography with Category B, by the School of Hydrography and Oceanography of the Hydrographic Institute, was held.
During this meeting, held in Indonesia (Bandung), the International Board on Standards of Competence for Hydrographic Surveyors and Nautical Cartographers (IBSC) decided to consider, from the outset, the renewal of the recognition of this course with the category B.
It should be noted that the EHO Hydrographic Technical Course will thus remain one of the few certified courses. Currently there are only 31 hydrography courses worldwide with this recognition, two of them in Portuguese.
