Surveys on the use of national public marine data
The OECD (Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development), in partnership with DGPM (Directorate-General for Maritime Policy), FCT (Fundação para a Ciência e a Tecnologia, I.P.) and GOOS (Global Ocean Observing System), is running two surveys on the use of national public marine data, targeting the marine affairs community, invited to respond to these surveys on the use of marine data available in national public data repositories. Both surveys, which will allow to understand the social value of these data, collecting useful information to guide future policies, will be open from 19th December 2022 until 17th February 2023.
One of the questionnaires is aimed at users of physical and biogeochemical ocean data, or others, according to the SeaDataNet vocabulary and parameters. It can be accessed here (in Portuguese) and here (in English).
The other questionnaire is directed to users of the ocean economy satellite account or other data of socio-economic nature available in national public repositories. It can be accessed here (in Portuguese) and here (in English).
Completing the questionnaires should not take more than 15 minutes (each).
