First Symposium on Artificial Intelligence of the Portuguese Navy

The Hydrographic Institute hosted yesterday, on September 11th, the first Symposium on Artificial Intelligence of the Portuguese Navy at its premises.

This symposium, presided over by the Chief of the Navy Staff, Admiral Gouveia e Melo, had the theme "The Transformational Challenge of Artificial Intelligence" and aimed to showcase the latest developments in this technology from the perspective of guest speakers. This event serves as a prelude to the IDEIA 2024 conference organized by the Navy, which will focus on "Artificial Intelligence and Naval Operations."
