First Specialization Course for Officers in Maritime Authority 2022-2023

On January 12, 2023, the School of Hydrography and Oceanography (EHO) of the Hydrographic Institute (IH) received four students from the first Specialization Course for Officers in Maritime Authority to receive training in the technical areas under their responsibility, namely in operational forecasting, maritime safety information, studies and opinions on signaling and maritime safety, environmental monitoring and hydrography.

This new course constitutes an important step in preparing Navy officers to carry out different types of technical functions in the naval military sphere, and also to exercise State authority at sea.
