2020 Annals Awards

The jury for the “Almirante Augusto Osório” award, within the scope of the Clube Militar Naval's 2020 Annals Awards, deliberated and awarded the award for the best work of 2020 to the consortium captain-de-mar-e-war Miguel Bessa Pacheco, for the authorship of the article "Subsidies to the history of Hydrography".

The article is the result of a historical investigation into the origins of the training of a hydrographic engineer in the Navy and the great hydrographic and cartographic effort carried out throughout the 20th century to map maritime spaces of national interest.
