The Hydrographic Institute celebrates 62 years

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) celebrates its 62nd anniversary today, September 22, 2022.

The celebrations began with the “IH: Past, Present and Future” session. Then, the Director General of the IH, Rear Admiral Mário Simões Marques, presided over the awarding ceremony, which was attended by distinguished guests and recipients, military, militarized and civilians who serve in this institute.

The ceremony ended with the delivery of souvenirs to employees who completed 35, 25 and 15 years of service at the IH.
