New edition of the nautical chart of Flores and Corvo islands

The 2nd Edition (December 2023) of Nautical Chart 46401: "Flores Island and Corvo Island (Porto das Lajes das Flores, Porto de Santa Cruz das Flores, and Porto da Casa)" has recently been published.

This chart addresses the updating needs of the Cartographic Folio of the Hydrographic Institute, notably including new topohydrographic information and transformation of the geodetic system to WGS 84.

The compilation of this Nautical Chart utilized the most recent bathymetric information acquired by the IH, highlighting surveys conducted in 2023 and 2019, of Special Order and Order 1A, in Porto das Lajes das Flores and on the west coast of Flores Island (2023) and on Corvo Island (2019), around the island and in Porto da Casa.
