U.S. Navy Naval Oceanographic Office visits the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute received today, September 9th, the visit of an entourage of the Naval Oceanographic Office of the U.S. Navy.

The Naval Oceanographic Office is a peer institution of the Hydrographic Institute of the Portuguese Navy, which is dedicated to ensuring activities related to the sciences and techniques of the sea in the United States of America.

This visit aimed to know the activity that both institutions develop, as well as the future prospects for future development. This transmission of knowledge and information enables the identification of areas of interest for possible collaborations from which a mutual benefit may arise.
