Minister of National Defense Visits the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute received a visit today, on June 19th, from the Minister of National Defense, Helena Carreiras, in a visit presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Navy, Admiral Gouveia.

The purpose of this visit was to showcase the activities of the IH in terms of marine knowledge and techniques, as well as the future prospects for technological and scientific development.

This exchange of knowledge and information enables the identification of strategically important areas for National Defense.
