Marinetech 2017, third day.

Completed yesterday the 2nd edition of Marinetech

The presentations on observatory themes and new challenges in the sea sector continued on this third and last day of the workshop. At the end of the event, the closing session was chaired by the General Director of the Hydrographic Institute, Rear Admiral António Coelho Cândido.
In his speech, the General Director congratulated the participants and the organization of this event, dedicated to an area where scientific activity has been accompanying the accelerated technological rhythm in the design of new equipment and applications. In this context, the General Director also launched the challenge for producers of "hardware" to develop systems based on free access, allowing users to change the settings of the sensors for their use in different scenarios and research areas.
