Topo-hydrographic survey in Faro and Olhão
The Hydrographic Brigade conducted a Top-hydrographic Survey (LH) in the period from January 25th to February 4th 2022 at Barra Nova and in the Faro Channel. Additionally it performed another LH in the Hangares wharf, in the "IPTM" wharf, in the Olhão refuelling wharf and in the Olhão embarkation wharf.
The church of Estoi and 34 buoys concerning the Faro and Olhão channels were also coordinated.
For this survey the Hydrographic Brigade had 5 soldiers, one of them in training, and the hydrographic boat Mergulhão equipped with a multibeam high resolution sounder.
These topographic-hydrographic surveys had the objective of updating the cartography.
