Hydrographic Institute has a new Director General

In a ceremony held yesterday, October 25, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros took over as Director General of the Hydrographic Institute, replacing Rear Admiral Simões Marques in his post.

The inauguration ceremony was presided over by the Chief of Staff of the Armada, Admiral Henrique Gouveia e Melo, and was attended by representatives of similar military and civil entities, the Vice Admiral Deputy Chief of the General Staff of the Navy and general officers who head the various sectors of the Navy, as well as military and civilian service in the IH.
