Hydrographic Institute participates in international meetings

The Hydrographic Institute, through the Division of Chemistry and Marine Pollution, participated in the CCQM – Inorganic Analysis Working Group (IAWG) meeting, the CCQM - Gas Analysis Working Group (GAWG) meeting, the CCQM – Electrochemical Analysis Working Group (EAWG) meeting, and the 29th Plenary Meeting of the Consultative Committee for Amount of Substance (CCQM), held from April 23rd to 26th in Sèvres, Paris.

The Hydrographic Institute took part in the CCQM–IAWG meeting as a Designated Institute on April 23rd and 24th. The main topics addressed included an overview of ongoing activities, a summary of current activities in the field of chemical metrology, the status of current key comparisons and pilot studies of ongoing and planned comparisons for the coming years.

The 29th Plenary Meeting of the CCQM took place on April 25th and 26th. This meeting was attended by approximately 105 representatives from Chemical Metrology, various National Metrology Laboratories, and Designated Institutes, with the main objectives being the dissemination of reports from CCQM working groups.

These meetings provide an opportunity to exchange experiences and address emerging areas of our society, promote joint projects, and disseminate new developments and needs in the field of Chemical Metrology at the international level.
