Hydrographic Institute organizes Summer School

The 2nd edition of the Oceanographic Instrumentation Summer School, organized by the Hydrographic Institute (IH), concluded on Friday, July 21st, with the participation of 13 university students from Lisbon and Aveiro, during one week.

The participants had the opportunity to directly interact with professionals in the field of Physical Oceanography, get to know and experiment with various oceanographic observation equipment in the marine environment, interpret the collected data, and finally present short projects related to the scientific activities developed.

With this initiative, IH made another small contribution to bringing students closer to the work environment and strengthened the bonds it has been maintaining with national universities.
