Instituto Hidrográfico obtains extension of the Accreditation of its Testing Laboratories

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) has recently obtained recognition from the Portuguese Accreditation Institute (IPAC) for the extension of the Accreditation of its laboratories. The scope of Accreditation now obtained includes the recognition of the technical competence to carry out 36 new analytical parameters, the vast majority of them in the field of organic pollutants, achieving the objective of obtaining accreditation of all analytical parameters in Annex III of Ordinance 1450/2007 (which defines the parameters to be analyzed to define the degree of contamination of materials to be dredged).
