Hydrographic Institute and NOVA Information Management School present Artificial Intelligence platform for the Sea

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the NOVA Information Management School (Nova IMS) presented the MarIA platform - Artificial Intelligence for the Sea on October 12th at the Portugal Smart Cities Summit 2023.

MarIA is an operation funded by the SAMA2020 program with the aim of establishing synergies between higher education institutions and central state administration organizations through dynamics of mutual benefit.

The project facilitated the co-creation of new products and services in the field of artificial intelligence and analytics, knowledge transfer, and scientific skills development, addressing real challenges associated with the activities of a national hydrographic service.
