Hydrographic Institute and Port Administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira sign protocol
The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Port Administration of the Autonomous Region of Madeira, S.A. (APRAM) have signed a cooperation protocol today, July 5th.
This protocol, signed by the Director-General of IH, Rear Admiral Ramalho Marreiros, and the President of APRAM, Engineer Paula Cabaço, aims to develop technical collaboration and the exchange of experiences, knowledge, and technical and scientific information to ensure navigation safety, maritime accessibility, environmental protection, as well as promote training activities, actions, and research, conservation, and monitoring projects in the fields of hydrography, physical and chemical oceanography, marine geology, and hydrographic cartography.
