Hydrographic Institute exhibit considered one of the best at the International Hydrographic Organization Assembly
The exhibit at the Hydrographic Institute, dedicated to the Portuguese Sea Mapping Program (SEAMAP 2030) and Blue Economy, was considered one of the best and most informative at the 3rd edition of the International Hydrographic Organization (IHO) Assembly, which ended on Friday, May 5.
Decisions were made at the conference that will serve as a guide for the future of the IHO, particularly for the implementation of a new form of digital cartography that will revolutionize maritime navigation, in a pronounced trend towards digitization and permanent global connectivity.
The assembly had about 400 participants, including delegates from member countries and observers from other countries and international organizations.
