If you're a navigator, you surely know this phrase. If you don't remember where, we'll help: it is printed on the covers of the Notices to Mariners Groups and summarizes the importance given to the need to convey information regarding navigation safety to the Hydrographic Institute quickly.
The nautical documentation and information concerning the national territory made available to navigators by the Hydrographic Institute are obtained through missions carried out by Navy hydrographic vessels, the work of hydrographic brigades, and elements provided by the National Maritime Authority, in the person of the Harbor Master.
In updating this documentation, the information provided by navigators also plays a significant role. Navigators should not neglect any opportunity to communicate to the Hydrographic Institute any information that may seem relevant to safety at sea, even if they assume it has already been communicated before.
