June 21, World Hydrography Day, the 5th JEH

After the thematic sessions presented throughout the day, the final closing ceremony was held, with the presence of some of the participants and representatives of the institutions that brightened this science meeting.

During these three days, about 130 national and foreign participants, representatives of public institutions, among which several State Laboratories, companies, sponsors, and representatives of R & D projects contributed with about 120 communications, both oral and in English. covering the areas of hydrography, navigation, marine geology, geographic information systems, marine environment data management, ocean technologies, oceanographic engineering and operational, physical, geological and chemical oceanography.

The level of adherence and multidisciplinarity of the themes addressed justify the high success of these days in favor of hydrography, science and knowledge of the sea. "
