Specialization Course in Navigation is in the Hydrographic Institute

The officers of the Specialization Course of Officers in Navigation are currently in the phase of the course that takes place in the Hydrographic Institute. In this phase, with a duration of two weeks, the students will have classes dedicated mainly to the themes of Navigation, Hydrography, Nautical Cartography and Oceanography. In this scope they also carry out an expedited hydrographic survey by norm in the dock of the Direction of Lighthouses.
This course, whose present edition is attended by three officers of the Navy class, already had a common part to other specializations that took place in the School of Naval Technologies and in the Integrated Center of Training and Naval Evaluation. After this phase they will return to the Naval Academy and will later carry out a boarding stage aboard a Navy ship during their participation in a naval exercise.
