Commander of the Angolan Navy Visits the Hydrographic Institute
The Hydrographic Institute (IH) welcomed yesterday, February 21st, the visit of the Commander of the Angolan Navy, Admiral Valentim Alberto António, as part of his visit to the Portuguese Navy.
During this visit, accompanied by the Chief of the Navy Staff, Admiral Gouveia e Melo, the Commander of the Angolan Navy had the opportunity to attend a briefing on the activities carried out by the IH, its responsibilities and organizational structure, its functioning, and its duties.
There was also time to visit an equipment exhibition, where the IH provided an overview of its latest capabilities in maritime technology, highlighting the practical application of remote monitoring systems and state-of-the-art sensors.
