Club Oxigénio of Ginásio Clube Português visits IH

On the 27th of April 2022, a group of 21 participants from the Clube Oxigénio, from Ginásio Clube Português, made a cultural visit to the Hydrographic Institute (IH).

During the guided tour, the historical framework of the spaces was made, addressing issues related to the conventual activity that took place over more than three centuries. Besides the emphasis given to the tile collection that decorates the walls of the former Trinas do Mocambo Convent, some of the equipment that makes up the technical-scientific collection of the IH was presented, as well as the temporary exhibition dedicated to "Portuguese Hydrographic Missions in the 20th Century".

Clube Oxigénio is dedicated to the organization of cultural tours and guided visits to museums and historical monuments.
