Maritime Instrumentation Center introduces QR Code on its calibration label

In fieldwork, technicians can now check the quality of acquired data in real-time. Through the QR code provided on the equipment's calibration label, users can quickly access the calibration certificate.

The Calibration Laboratory performs calibrations in the field of Oceanography and Hydrography, including hydrostatic pressure, pneumatic pressure, and temperature, accredited by the Portuguese Institute for Accreditation (IPAC); in addition to these, it also calibrates seawater electrical conductivity sensors by temperature variation and Sound Velocity.
