Signing of a protocol with the Municipality of Cascais

The Hydrographic Institute (IH) and the Municipality of Cascais signed, this December, a protocol for technical and scientific cooperation, with the objective of developing technical cooperation and the exchange of experiences, knowledge and technical and scientific information, as well as promoting training activities, actions and joint research, conservation and monitoring projects in the fields of hydrography, oceanography, chemistry, marine geology and hydrographic cartography, based on the principles of equality and reciprocity of advantages.

The event, presided over by the Mayor of Cascais, Carlos Carreiras, took place in the auditorium of Casa das Histórias Paula Rego at the end of the Municipal Council of the Sea.
