Students from the University of Coimbra visit the Hydrographic Institute

The Hydrographic Institute received today, April 4th, at its facilities on Rua das Trinas and at the Azinheira Hydrographic Base, the visit of 32 students from the Geology degree program at the University of Coimbra, as part of the Marine Geology discipline.

This visit, requested by the Department of Earth Sciences of that university, aimed to introduce students to the practical application of the knowledge they have been acquiring in the field of Marine Geology, as well as the techniques, equipment, and projects in which the IH participates in this area.
