6th Particles in Europe Conference

The PiE-Particles in Europe Conference will be held on 14-17 October 2018 at the Hydrographic Institute.

The Particles in Europe conferences, or PiE, are biannual events on the measurement, monitoring and management of sediment in aquatic environments, bringing together experts from various fields with a common interest in particle dynamics, informal meetings for the exchange of ideas and information.
Among others, will be present sound names in the area of acoustic detection of sediments such as Thorne, Hanes and Guerrero, as well as the head of Sequoia Scientific and responsible of the PiE conferences, Dr. Yogi Agrawal, author of several articles in magazines international renowned in the field of particle analysis by optical methods, and one of those responsible for the development of LISST technology - Laser In-situ Transmissometry.
