Accessibility and Usability Seal
The Silver Seal of Accessibility and Usability was awarded to the Instituto Hidrográfico web site (www.hidrografico.pt).
The Accessibility and Usability Seal is intended to identify and promote the application of best practices on websites and mobile applications and comprises 3 levels of classification, corresponding to Bronze, Silver and Gold grades.
This initiative, developed by the Agency for Administrative Modernization and the National Institute for Rehabilitation, aims to simplify and increase the efficiency in the use of online public services by citizens, namely those who need to use support technologies.
The award of the Silver Seal of Accessibility and Usability, which IH applied for following a thorough work of reviewing the contents and updating the features of the portal in question, is valid for one year and attests to the compliance of the aforementioned website with level 2 of accessibility and usability, assessed in accordance with the methodology provided for in no. 1 of art. 9 of Decree-Law No. 83/2018, of October 19th.
Next goal: Gold degree.
