Beginning of the Technical Course of Hydrography 2018/19

On September 10 began the 2018/19 edition of the Technical Hydrography Course of the School of Hydrography and Oceanography of the Hydrographic Institute.
The current edition of the Course, in addition to the four sergeants of the Portuguese Navy, includes two civilians of Portuguese nationality.
The civilian students are employees of a Portuguese company that develops activity in the area of ​​hydrographic surveys and intends to provide them with a better preparation and knowledge. This case proves, once again, the growing interest in the civil community to attend our courses, taking advantage of the opportunity granted to take advantage of surplus vacancies.
This interest is due in large part to its international recognition, in this case with category B, whose renewal process was recently completed, and currently only 31 courses worldwide are recognized under this category.
This course will last 44 weeks and is expected to end on August 9, 2019.
