SANDTRACK

Development of an innovative multidisciplinary approach, combining the use of fluorescent and magnetic tracers with numerical modeling, to quantify the sediment transport and improve the efficiency of artificial feeds carried out in the submerged area of the beach.

This approach is applied to the Costa Nova-Aveiro case study where it is expected to recharge several million cubic meters of sand.
